Bishop Daniel J. Richardson is an Apostolic Prophetic Visionary who thirsts after the very heart of God. He stands on the “watchwords” of Isaiah 62:10 because they embody the ministry standard and the spiritual impetus to execute the life-altering mandate for Ministry that God has commanded over his life. He is appointed to minister to the multi-dimensional needs of God’s people—a charge which he executes faithfully and without restraint.
On June 24, 2008, while serving as a Senior Pastor, he was Consecrated to the Office of Overseer in the Covenant Ecumenical Fellowship and Cathedral Assemblies (CEFCA), and appointed as the CEFCA Overseer Southern Diocese—an assignment that served as a “gateway” for the emergence of the Apostolic Reformation in the southern region of the United States. In 2010 he was appointed as CEFCA’s General Secretary where he continued to exhibit a measure of fortitude, faithfulness and focus that allowed him to serve as a front runner in executing the demands of his various Kingdom assignments.
On December 1, 2012, Bishop Richardson was Consecrated a Prince in the Lord’s Church by his Apostolic Father in the Faith, Bishop Donald Hilliard, II, Senior Pastor, Cathedral International (Perth Amboy, NJ) and Presiding Prelate of CEFCA and the newly established Pastors Leadership Alliance (PLA). Bishop Hilliard was joined by Co-Consecrators, Bishop H. Curtis Douglas and Bishop L. Spenser Smith, Episcopates from both the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops, where the Archbishop J. Delano Ellis, II, serves as Metropolitan-Archbishop, and Kingdom Fellowship College of Bishops, where Bishop Ralph Dennis is the Presiding Prelate, respectively. It was during this process that Bishop Richardson was formally inducted as a Joint College Episcopate.
